WCG was contracted to provide a full range of civil engineering services for the K2 Apartments site civil development. Our team collaborated with the site planner to develop a site design and layout tailored to the project's needs and requirements.

Key services included developing detailed site grading and drainage plans to ensure proper stormwater runoff management. WCG performed stormwater calculations to size and design stormwater facilities, including an underground seepage bed and two infiltration bioswales, and produced a comprehensive stormwater management report detailing the design. The utility design encompassed water and sewer as well as joint trench utilities. WCG also managed site access and parking lot design to ensure ADA compliance. An existing irrigation pipe that traversed the property was upgraded for structural stability and connected to the downstream irrigation user’s wet well.

WCG provided construction management including providing responses to RFIs, site inspection, and owner’s representation. Throughout the application and permitting process, we coordinated with stakeholders and authorities having jurisdiction.
